Despacito Spiders are animals and pets that live in the East-Central area of Robloxia as an extinct invasive species and an isolated humid rainforest in Central Bloxmerica as its natural habitat. The pet can be purchased for 250 Robux starting on September 5, 2019. As of September 26, 2020, 33,292 robloxians have called it their favorite pet.
Description
Despacito Spiders are spiders that have a big New Yeller head that has the size of 56 centimeters (2 studs) by 44.8 centimeters (1.6 studs) by 56 centimeters (2 studs) stacked on top of a bigger really red head that is rescaled to the exact same size with its face almost completely rotated the opposite way, giving the illusion that the Despacito Spider has four eyes, complete with a set of enormous spider legs. It is heavily rumored that the Despacito Spider has great dance moves and that there exists an exorbitantly large Despacito Spider that is believed to be a god. Sometimes, a Despacito spider would cling to robloxian's backs.
History
Prior to the 13th century, Despacito Spiders lived in an isolated humid rainforest in Central Bloxmerica before they started spreading towards Bloxburg Valley. Some still live in the jungles today. They formed the city of Digalti. In the 13th century, Despacito Spiders lived in caves in Bloxifornia, others from the forests of Bloxadia. In the late 14th century, Despacito Spiders were hunted or killed by robloxians, leaving nine hundred. No larger activity was recorded until 1981. They were able to breed, and they had exorbitantly long average lifespans, at 29.5 years. In 1981, calls about a Despacito Spider started on 8 PM, mostly from motorists on Ro-Route 13 that had seen a despacito spider around 4 feet tall in the middle of Ro-Route 13, causing traffic jams. When police officers arrived, the spider had got scared and ran away. Activity had paused until 2019. Gradually, their exorbitantly long lifespans were cut short. After the attacks of July 4th, 2019, the seven despacito spiders reproduced, making the population 110. They were found in a cave that was destroyed by debris. They were sent to a breeding facility where the population grew by 19% every 14 days. The breeding facility then containment breached sometime between the time they were sent here and September 5th, 2019, by an earthquake. Having mastered the technique of the breeding facility, the Despacito Spiders were able to maintain their population growth. The species was then seen on Robloxian High School and further gained popularity through being used in bizarre memes. At one point, the Robloxian government knew so much about this species that they decided to make it a pet that Robloxians can own on September 5, 2019, at the cost of 250 ROBUX. On September 13, 2019, the Robloxian government credited Robloxian High School for finding this species. From April 6th, 2020 to April 27th, 2020, The Robloxian High School and its surroundings were infested with 105 Despacito Spiders (five only came per day). The agents of E.G.G were sent to exterminate the Despacito Spiders. Every day, one despacito spider was found in the popcorn machine in the auditorium entrance, one despacito spider was found in the fruit section of the grocery store, one despacito spider was found in a cage in the pet shop, one despacito spider was found on a shelf in the clothing shop, and one despacito spider was found under the bridge in the park. On September 18th, 2020, Despacito Spiders started to reproduce rapidly. producing nine months and five days of reproduction in just eight days. On September 26, 2020, the population of the Despacito Spiders reached 39,536. Robloxians were worried that it will become extinct twice: once on March 5, 2021, and once on September 5, 2021. However, it resisted extinction twice and proceeded to reproduce, effectively increasing its average lifespan. As of January 2022, the population of the Loxosceles despacito (Despacito Spider), which had long been expected to reach 146,458, plummeted to zero due to them falling in a lake on January 13, 2022, that had low pH due to the water being polluted with acetic acid. Acetic acid concentrations rose to 20 ppt in the lake.

Diet
Despacito Spiders were carnivorous; they eat snails and slugs. They did not eat anything else. They drank a lot of water to stay hydrated, which is why they are called "despacito" (meaning slow in Bloxish).
Abilities
Despacito Spiders were able to make very large webs, up to 6 to 12 feet wide. They were super intelligent. A test conducted by the NITA (National Intelligence Testing Agency) showed that their IQ was 381, 5x smarter than a normal spider and 3.175x smarter than the average robloxian.
