Des Roines is the capital of the state of Rowia.
Facts:
- Founded in 1853 it would be a bustling railroad town for the lines of Union Pacific and later Rock Island Lines and Rowia Interblox Railroad.
- Sitting on the river bearing the same name as the city, it is split into two districts, Des Roines and West Des Roines.
- The city has been known to have tornadoes rip through the suburbs.
- The capital was not here originally until 1881 when it was decided to move it into a central part of Rowia and out of its old location of Rowia City.
- It is the largest city in Rowia.
