Delta Squad

Delta Squad is a squad of elite Insurgency soldiers sent to dispatch, silence, and eliminate most Insurgency enemies. They are the best of the best of the Insurgency, and thus pose a dangerous threat to GFAH personnel.

Background

Delta Squad's team leaders and soldiers are chosen from the best of the Insurgency's ranks. Each soldier must have at least three years of serving the Insurgency, participated in 20 or more successful raids and missions, and must have an impeccable service record.

Operations

Virus 46 Outbreak

A patrol of 4 Delta Squad personnel spearheaded the temporary isolation of CBRN Site 1 until further Insurgency backup could arrive. There were no casualties.

Extraction of the Engineer

A Blackhawk helicopter successfully extracted the Engineer from exile in GFAH Site 19. There were no casualties.

Attempted murder on Anthony Smith

A lone Delta Squad sniper attempted to assassinate Anthony Smith disguised as a FBC Site Guard. He was quickly terminated. One casualty.

Gear

While Delta Squad has access to a wide variety of different firearms, explosives, vehicles, and other miscellaneous equipment, Delta Squad primarily utilises helicopter-mounted machine guns, M67 grenades, SPAS-12 shotguns, M4 carbines, and Colt M1911s. Their method of transportation is a modified Blackhawk helicopter.

They use black tactical gear for espionage while utilising a GP-5 gas mask for hazardous environment combat situations.
