David John Smith was born on October 12, 1980 and was raised in Hallville, Wisconsin and Smith came from a family highly connected with their locals. His parents, Robert and Clara Smith, both operated a bookstore near the town square, where many Robloxians would meet up and gather. After completing high school, he pursued studies related to administration and urban planning at Wisconsin University, where he was successful in academics. After returning to Hallville, Smith was involved in local development projects, and business related projects. Smith was eventually elected mayor in 2018.
