Dance Off is a television show that is about musicians performing in nightclubs. Dance Off was firstly aired in January 2018, and still continues airing to this day. Dance Off is filmed in Bloxburg and the places that are featured exist in Robloxia. Dance Off is inspired by other shows like Dance Your Blox Off and Fashion Famous. The show is run by producer 1yesman9. It is essentially a show where a selected number of Robloxians compete with each other in a dance competition, showing off their best fashion, stage design, music, and dance moves. Currently, the pool of contestants receives 6,000 contestants, rivaling other television shows such as Focus Dance and Gymnastics' Dance Your Blox Off. The pool of contestants has peaked at 19,000 concurrent contestants, holding the record for Dance Centric Robloxia television shows.
Originally, the pool of contestants maintained around 10,000 concurrent contestants. The contestant count received a hit after the Robloxian federal government toughened their stance on copyrighted music, forcing the television show to replace a large number of infringing songs with non-copyrighted songs.
The television show is heavily inspired by other similar television shows, Dance Your Blox Off and Fashion Famous.
Plot
The main set of the show, the shops and the buildings can be visited as of now.
In an episode of Dance Off, the contestants can also meanwhile choose their preferred items and also stages. The contestants then must choose to be in a team or be solo. After choosing their team, the contestants are made to dress up in 3 minutes in three stores, one for clothing, one for accessories and makeup, and one for haircuts. After the contestants dress up, the contestants travel to a place, notably a nightclub in different states or in Bloxburg Valley, and start performing there with their selected music. The contestants could vote for each other while performing, but the contestants cannot vote for themselves. Later when the contestants stop performing, the votes will be shown and the contestants could see each others votes.
