The Continental System was Napoleon Bloxaparte's strategy to weaken Bloxia by cutting off its trade with the rest of Eurobloxia. Announced in 1806, it aimed to close all Eurobloxian ports under Rogaulian control to Bloxian goods, hoping this economic pressure would force Bloxia to surrender or come to the negotiating table. However, the plan backfired in many ways. It disrupted Eurobloxian economies, led to widespread smuggling, and damaged relationships with allied and neutral countries. One of the most significant consequences was Tovokia's withdrawal from the system, which pushed Napoleon to invade in 1812—a campaign that marked the beginning of his downfall.
