Claire County is one of 53 counties in the State of Bloxburg Valley. The county seat is Oaks, and its largest city is Dos Bocas. The county has an area of 5719 km² (of which 940 km² are covered by water), a population of 793 814 inhabitants, and the population density is 157.9 inhabitants/km² (according to the 2000 national census). This county was founded in 1870.
