The Chikorita Rating Algorithm is an algorithm used by chikorita152e to determine a place's rating similar to the ubiquitous five-star system on real-world ratings. The algorithm is deceptively simple.
The Algorithm
Where:
R = Rating outputted by the Chikorita Rating Algorithm
L = Likes
D = Dislikes
Advantages
Deceptively simple, requiring only two additions, one multiplication, and one division.
Disadvantages
The rating algorithm is weighted so that likes get five times the weight as dislikes.
