Chandler is a medium-sized town located in the northeast with the mountains towering over the town. Chandler consists of a few small office buildings, stores, a Siriway, Chandler Hospital, a large gas station, and houses ranging from small one-story houses to large two-story houses. This town also sits across the Wenatchee River from Wadena, a larger town. There are also several barns south of the town. Storms can roll through the area and due to the population density of this region as well as the facilities. Storm chasers tend to roll through the area. It is located on the intersection of Keysota State Route 2 and Keysota State Route 26, though Cherokee County Road 11, Wadena County Roads 54 and 83, and Keysota State Route 13 pass near the city limitations.
