Buford is a town in Central Robloxia, located in Buford County. Buford has a population of 55,304, making it the largest community in Buford County by population. It is also the county seat of Buford County.

History

Buford was founded in 1869 as a train station by Marshall, Buford. As people arrived to the settlement, Buford grew in population with reaching a population of 6,547 by the 20th century. Buford was incorporated into a town on February 9, 1901.

20th Century

Buford grew rapidly during the mid-20th century, reaching a population of 13,384 in 1950. In 1955, the first SpeedBlox opened in Buford, serving as a gas stop to residents of the town.

In the 1980s, developer Alexander Green developed multiple neighborhoods in Buford leading to a population boom from 28,274 to 39,578. In 1985, the Buford Mall was built as a shopping destination to the residents of the growing town.

21st Century

In 2003, Buford had another population boom due to new housing, making the population grow from 43,024 to 45,148.

On August 8, 2009, a fire was reported at one of the Burger Way's in the town at 9:34 AM. The location would end up collapsing after burning for 32 minutes.

In 2026, new housing developments led to the town gaining 2000 people.
