Brookhaven Railways is the operator of rail transport in the city of Brookhaven. It operates the three main railways of the city: Brookhaven Heavy Rail, Brookhaven Express, and MetroLink. It does not operate the Brookhaven Subway system and LightLink, a light rail system.

History

The railway operator was founded in 1984, five years after the opening of Broolhaven Heavy Rail. Brookhaven Railways immediately began operating Brookhaven Heavy Rail. Three years later, Express, another high speed rail network, was founded. Express is a competitor of the Bloxburg Express rail. In 1993, MetroLink was founded.

Fun Facts

MetroLink the only rail network that does not have a station at the downtown area.

Brookhaven Heavy Rail is the busiest railway in Brookhaven Railways.

The rail lines do not serve any of the airports, Aerborne and Brookhaven Airport.
