Brick Lake is a city in northwestern Robloxia, situated on the coast of the Telamon Sea. It has a population of 270,000 as of 2014.
History
The city of Brick Lake was founded in 1647 by settlers from the east, making it one of the oldest cities in western Robloxia. The city's name comes from the original name for the Telamon Sea, Telamon Lake.
Geography
Brick Lake is located directly on the coast of the Telamon Sea, a large sea in West Robloxia, created by melting ice after the last ice age.
The city has a continental climate, which is mildly affected by its proximity to the sea. The highest temperature reported in Brick Lake was 102 degrees (39 degrees Centigrade) in July 2000, and the lowest recorded temperature was -10 degrees (-23 degrees Centigrade) in February 1993. During the summer months, severe weather is not uncommon in the city, with thunderstorms forming, while in winter, the city gets infrequent snowfall.
Transport
Brick Lake lies just beside Highway 16, which runs from Southern Robloxia to Metrocity in Lake Shores and has a length of 4,102 miles (6,601 km or 23.6 mega-studs), making it the longest highway in Western Robloxia.
Brick Lake also has a minor international airport, Brick Lake-Brickst Beach Airport, which connects it to several cities around West ROBLOXia and has seasonal flights to Cordova, Ireland and Eastern Robloxia. Brick Lake-Brickst Beach (BLB) serves 2.2 million people yearly (around the size of Brick-ROBLOXia), making it one of the smallest international airports in Western Robloxia.
