History
Bloxy Grove was founded as a town in 1899, and recorded a population of 673 in 1900. It was primarily a logging town until the 1920s, when the main industry switched to manufacturing. The village was given town status and incorporated in 1934, and the county seat was moved in 1936. It remained primarily a rural area until 1956, when a number of new developments were added to the area. In 1974, the train station in the town shut down to speed up the route into Robloxity.
It experienced a severe population decline starting in 2020, with much of the former residents moving to Downtown Robloxity.
