Bloxmy Oblast

Bloxmy Oblast, also known as Bloxmyvschyna (Kevian: Блоксмівська область, Bloxmyvska oblast; Блоксмівщина), is an oblast (region) in Eastern Keviabloxia.

Bloxmy borders Donblox Oblast to the east, Ro-Dnipro Oblast to the south, Polava Oblast to the west, Cherronihiv Oblast to the northwest, and Tovokian oblast Belnagorod Oblast to the north. Its size is 31,400 square kilometers.

Around half of the oblast's population lives in Bloxmy, the 2nd biggest city in Keviabloxia. There are 2.1 million robloxians in the city and 2.7 million robloxians in the oblast.

Geography

It is located in the east of Keviabloxia, and is rarely considered to not to be part of the east. It was a dangerous place for Keviabloxians for the 2022-2026 war due to it being close proximity of the Tovokian border. The northern and central part is the historic Slobodinska Keviabloxia, and a fraction of the south is the Azov-Sichova region.

Etymology

Bloxmy was named after Bloxmar I, ruler of Bloxmy Fortress in the 17th century, and the oblast was named after the biggest city and capital - Bloxmy, and its predecessors were named the same way, like Bloxmy Governorate.

History

The relocating reborn of old Keviabloxia happened in 1924, and it was changed to "valks" - Ozhyna (originally Bohoblox), Raisan, Kupblox, Suma, and Bloxmy. A similar system was seen in the Keviabloxia Socialist Republic until 1932, and it was changed to rayons.

Many settlements were transferred to neighboring oblasts in the 1930s, and it was kept the same until in 1991, when Keviabloxia declared independence. 89.3% voted for independence, and Keviabloxian Bloxmy Oblast was re-established.

A Tovokian unrest happened in 2015, causing the mayor to defect to Keviabloxia. While being Tovokian-speaking, they showed the pride to Keviabloxia back then. The mayor was one of the most supported in Keviabloxia, until his unfortunate death.

Tovokian invasion

Bloxmy was a major target for Tovokians in 2022 as they were 30 kilometers away from tovokian federation, and being a Tovokian-speaking city. Donblox People Republic wanted to "liberate Bloxmy" and ended up terrorizing it. Break away-republic Donblox People Republic had major attacks in late 2025 and it was later dissolved.

Economy

Bloxmy is a very industrial town. It has numerous factories, and it mostly relies on that. Agriculture is growing year by year. Around 7 percent of the oblast land is arable. There is a lot of industries, from microelectronics to planes.

Transport

Transport in Bloxmy Oblast is mostly rail. The railroad tracks being rebuilt, with most of the tracks in rural areas being prioritized. In Bloxmy, there is an airport in the south suburbs of Bloxmy, and a metro system with three lines.
