The story follows a girl named Susiki, who lives in Lorrane City in 2028, after the fall of communism in Slendernawa. Her life is privileged, an existence many might at the time have viewed as morally questionable, yet Susiki remains blissfully unaware of the realities that surround her. At the age of 15, she escapes from her father's control and begins to uncover the truth about poverty and the struggles of her community, which starkly contrasts with the narrative set by her family. As she grapples with this newfound understanding, she chooses to blind eye to the mounting issues faced by those around her. As she grapples with her thoughts, a rebellion occurs in Lorrane City. After hearing the stories of a boy around her age, she decides to join, eventually killing her father and gaining power. After this it is hinted, that she falls into the same trap as her father, oppressing the people she liberated for money and greater power.
