Berlis is a state of New Luobu in the nortwestern coast of Peninsular New Luobu. It is the smallest state in New Luobu by area and population. The state borders the Thai provinces of Songkhla to the north and the New Luobese state of Ro-Kedah to the south. Berlis is the only New Luobese state that is not divided into districts, due to its small size, but it is still divided into several communes. Berlis had a population of 296,800 as of the 2020 census. The capital of Berlis is Pongar, and the royal capital is Rius.
