The Battle of Napoleonsbourg (Rogaulian: Bataille de Napoléonsbourg, Telamonian: Kaua o Ko Makou) was a battle in the February Uprising in the Telamon Islands. On the 7 of May, rebel forces reached the fortified colonial settlement of Napoleonsbourg, situated in what is known today as Lui Kameha. This stronghold, established decades earlier by the Rogaulian Empire, served as a crucial military outpost guarding the southern passes of the New Robloxia Mountains. At the time of the rebels’ arrival, it was defended by 1,000 colonial troops — a force considered modest but strategically positioned within reinforced earthworks and stone ramparts.
The following morning, on May 8, hostilities commenced. What began as scattered skirmishes at the perimeter soon escalated into a full engagement. The Telamonian rebels, numbering close to 20,000 utilized their superior numbers and familiarity with the rugged terrain to their advantage. For two hours, the battle raged amid the narrow valley and surrounding slopes. Despite their superior equipment, the Rogaulian forces were unable to hold their ground against the sustained Telamonian advance. By mid-morning, faced with mounting casualties and the imminent threat of encirclement, the Rogaulian command ordered a tactical withdrawal toward the northern ridges. This maneuver effectively ceded control of Napoleonsbourg to the rebels.
