"Avalanche" or as "The First Challenge" is the third episode of the animated web series Epic Minigames. It was directed by Anthony O'Gallagher, who co-wrote the screenplay with Oscar Scott and is produced by Dennie Gordon (who serves as executive producer) and Carmel Russell. It was released on September 3, 2012. The episode is the third installment in the "Survival Games" first series, which is featured in the game show. All 122 of the people who were selected as the main contestants for the new game show are followed throughout the program. They are initially all prepared and ready to take on the mini-games that the game would present to them. Although it was subsequently revealed that Damaris had planned some risky, outrageous, and entertaining tasks, they rapidly discover after the first challenge that they must endure for the next 121 days straight.
