Aurora was still a small town in Aurora County, as it had a population of 19.
1944
A nuclear bomb explodes near Aurora County. Miraculously, Aurora was spared from the destruction. Unfortunately, Starville was not. Surviving Robloxians in Starville would evacuate to Aurora, beginning a population boom that would last for 76 years.

Aurora became the new county seat of Aurora County after Sonic the Hedgehog XX, the mayor of Aurora and owner of an organization, made Aurora the county seat of the new county, in what was regarded to be a "less controversial" move compared to his previous move of building a five-star island resort which became a hotspot of dating activity. To compensate, he has banned Bloxy Beat, meaning that all radio stations broadcasting music in Aurora can only broadcast selected music. The frequency in which Bloxy Beat resided is replaced with static.

First crime sprees litter the county seat.
August 15
A duffel bag factory starts operations in the county seat, which causes crime sprees to increase in intensity. Amounts of currency robbed per district, in some instances, increased as much as 50% the next day. The average was just 25%. Duffel bags can be purchased at the factory's visitor center for 400 ROBUX.

Sonic the Hedgehog XX repeals the Bloxy Beat Ban, allowing Bloxy Beat to be played without static.

A Robloxian Survivor witnesses zombies and mutants migrating away from The Wasteland, then tells 29 citizens in Aurora to repopulate and recultivate the wasteland. For a while, Starville becomes a temporary town.

Starville is destroyed by zombies and mutants after the Robloxians in Starville return back to Aurora.
