On October 16, 2024, Austin Henry Owen, the accomplice hired by Coeptus II in the October 14, 2024 North Bloxifornia State Prison Raid, was assassinated while riding in a car in San Juan, Bloxburg Valley driven by Coeptus II. He was shot three times by an unknown perpetrator at that time, but Coeptus II suspects it might have been a Bloxburg Rebel or one of his opponents. He was rushed to a hospital where he passed away. Much hate was over Austin Henry Owen in Northern Bloxifornia and many North Bloxifornian Robloxians are saying they are thrilled with his death, but Coeptus II and many Southern Bloxburg Valley citizens say that they were not thrilled to see him dead. Experts said that the assassination was subsequently followed by a terrorist attack in the Coffee-Stained Republic, becoming the deadliest attack in the Coffee-Stained Republic's history as it shattered the previous record of 62 deaths that occurred on May 30, 2024.
Background
Austin Henry Owens
On October 14, 2024, Austin Henry Owen, then an accomplice used by Coeptus II to help orchestrate the prison raid and a prisoner for committing an assassination attempt on Mason "Scorpio" Smith, was promoted to a government employee by Coeptus II. Owen's tenure saw nothing.

It is unknown who the assassin is.
October 16
On October 16, Coeptus II's Ground Force One arrived at San Juan International Airport at 18:40. Austin Henry Owen boarded the Ground Force One to travel to the Bloxburg City Hall. Other occupants of this vehicle were The Coffee-Stained Republican Law Enforcement Agents, who enforced the law on the vehicle and one of them in the front passenger seat; and Coeptus II's son Coeptus III, who sat just forward of the Coeptus II. Four Coffee-Stained Republican Law Enforcement battle tanks, four assault guns, four infantry fighting vehicles, four armored personnel carriers, four armored combat support vehicles, four mine-protected vehicles, four light-armored vehicles, and four light-utility vehicles accompanied the Ground Force One. Shortly before departure, Coeptus III decided to switch vehicles, joining his wife and another government employee in another vehicle.
The motorcade on Bloxburg Valley State Route 10 was designed to give Austin Henry Owens maximum exposure to crowds. Despite concerns about hostile protestors—the Bloxburg Rebels became hostile—Austin Henry Owens was greeted warmly by enthusiastic vehicles.
Shooting
Coeptus II's vehicle entered Bloxburg Valley State Route 10 soon after. Coeptus II turned to Austin Harry Owen and said,
What do you want to do now that you are tenured?
Austin Harry Owen said,
To protect you, Coeptus II.
Those were Austin Harry Owen's last words. As Ground Force One continued down Bloxburg Valley State Route 10, an assassin's vehicle in front of him told Coeptus II to pull over. He pulled over and parked his vehicle before turning off the vehicle's engine. Austin Harry Owens disembarked the vehicle. The assassin disembarked his vehicle and equipped a pistol, presumably belonging to the Coffee-Stained Republic Law Enforcement, and shouted,
TAKE! -fires on head- BACK! -fires on torso- ROBLOXIA! -fires on legs and kicks Austin Harry Owen on the abdomen-
Soon after, the assassin re-boarded his vehicle, and Coeptus II's motorcade immediately installed a tracking device on his vehicle. Unaware that the assassin was being tracked, he drove off. Coeptus II, facing towards the vehicle, and screamed,
YOU NEO-NAZIS ARE GOING TO KILL US ALL!
As the motorcade left the scene, some witnesses sought cover, and others joined the Coffee-Stained Republic Law Enforcement to drive up Bloxburg Valley State Route 10 to chase the shooter. After the time of the shooting, the Coffee-Stained Republic Law Enforcement split essentially to two flanks, a chasing flank and retreating flank, with the latter flank being diverted to the University of Bloxburg Valley San Juan Health containing Coeptus II and Austin Harry Owens. No witness ever reported seeing anyone—with or without a gun—on Bloxburg Valley State Route 10 at the time of the shooting.
One police officer was doing speed checks 120 yards (110 m or 391.9 studs) behind the location of the shooting; he was watching the chasing flank and had an unobstructed view of the location of the shooting. He saw the shooting. The police officer testified that two Robloxians were at the location of the shooting during the assassination. He testified seeing an assassination on Bloxburg Valley State Route 10 at the time of the assassination.
On 19:36, a teenager pulled over just to approach the police officer to report having seen a white male Robloxian with a pistol on Bloxburg Valley State Route 10 during the assassination; in response, the police officer radioed that he was sealing off the San Juan stretch of Bloxburg Valley State Route 10 and two miles out of the city limits. A witness then approached the police officer to report seeing a shooter—a white male Robloxian in clothing resembling the Nazi Romarkian Army soldier uniform. On 19:45, the Robloxian Weather Service broadcast a Civil Danger Warning, containing the description of the male Robloxian.

The witness testified that, after the second shot, the male Robloxian wanted his last shot to be a weak shot, which, coupled with a kick in the abdomen or in the thigh, would have injured him as much as the previous two shots individually. A witness also reported seeing a barrel, presumably from a pistol or a gun, emerge from a vehicle. A witness stated that the pistol's back-fire was so loud, near, and intense that three of his car's windows broke.
The Assassin's Flight, the Assassin's Joyride, and Arrest
When searching the crime scene, two deputies found three bullets, which they quickly ballistically fingerprinted to a pistol from their police department. It is later found that the assassin had bought the stolen pistol on March 2024 under the username "NeoKiwiHitler" on a dark Roternet website and had it delivered to his post-office box.
The assassin then drove off to a boarding house, then broke into the same boarding house north of San Juan that was not in lockdown, where he stole a jacket and a magazine of pistol bullets containing eight rounds. As a result, the Robloxia Weather Service renewed the civil danger warning to reflect the new information on 20:26.

At 20:27., a police commander working for the Coffee Stained Republic Law Enforcement Agency spike stripped the assassin's vehicle, impeding and stopping the movement of his vehicle by puncturing his tires. Eventually, the police commander called him to his patrol vehicle. After an exchange of words, the police commander exited his vehicle; the assassin then shot the police commander three times on the head and screamed,
MAKE ROBLOXIA WHITE!
As the police commander laid on the ground, the assassin fired one more shot on the torso, killing him while the assassin said:
AGAIN!
Shortly after, the police commander's vehicle keys were stolen by the assassin, turning it into a grand theft of automobiles and a successful carjacking. He then calmly drove away on the police vehicle (a tank) before going over 70 miles per hour and activating the vehicle's strobes, directionals, and priority sirens after a witness pointed at his vehicle and shouted,
WHITE SUPREMACIST!
The witness immediately notified the Coffee Stained Republic Law Enforcement Agency, which threatened to follow him to a specific location, in hopes that his home will be raided. At 20:51, the police were called after reports that a tank gun belonging to the Coffee Stained Republic had been fired at the Coffee Stained Republic Law Enforcement Agency Headquarters at Bloxburg, flattening the building and killing 833 and injuring 550 while screaming outside of his scene, hoping to get the tank destroyed by the collapse:
FUCK THE POLICE!
. The injured policemen arrested the assassin after a brief struggle in which the assassin drew his fully loaded pistol and killed eight Robloxians. He said he was a supporter of Donald Trumpblox.
In 20:52, an Emergency Action Notification was sent to all the areas affected.

Austin Henry Owen declared dead; Coeptus II announces death
Live regularly broadcasted television was interrupted at 20:53 when footage of Austin Henry Owen arriving in the emergency room of the University of Bloxburg Valley San Juan Health started to play on all channels. Although Austin Henry Owen was still breathing after the shooting, his personal physician immediately saw that survival was impossible. After surgeons performed futile cardiopulmonary resuscitation, Austin Henry Owen was pronounced dead at 21:23. Following this, news channels reported on Austin Henry Owen's death after Coeptus II announced that "his comrade died".
The Coffee Stained Republic's Law Enforcement Agency was concerned about the possibility of a larger plot and urged Coeptus II to return to Bloxburg. He returned on 21:53.
Austin Henry Owen's assassination was a federal crime. Accordingly, Coeptus II decided that the assassin's right to bear arms (he was bearing a pistol, which is by definition, an arm) will be revoked as the assassin was using it to "harm Robloxians" and he would no longer be allowed to buy or receive arms in Robloxia. At 23:01, Coeptus II hired a new government employee to replace Austin Henry Owen's position.
Immediate Aftermath
Autopsy
An autopsy was performed at the Bloxburg General Medical Center in Bloxburg on the night of the assassination. Coeptus II selected a general medical center as the postmortem site as Austin Henry Owen was a typical Robloxian. The autopsy was conducted by three physicians with assistance from a ballistics wound expert who led the procedure. Under pressure from the Coeptus II and the government employees to expedite the procedure, the physicians conducted a "rushed" but complete autopsy. Austin Henry Owen's personal physician signed a death certificate on October 17 and recorded that the cause of death was "assassinated by being shot".
Funeral
Following the autopsy, Austin Henry Owen lay in repose in the government building until October 18. Coeptus II declared October 17 to be a national day of mourning and that Robloxians who do not fly a national or military flag of Coffee-Stained Republic at half-mast will be fined or sent to community service as this constitutes "hatred for the government".
The was then carried on a horse-drawn limber and a horse-drawn caisson to the city of Bloxburg to lie in state. Mourners lined up to view the guarded casket, with a many passing through the rotunda until October 18. As a contrast, many North Bloxifornians ignored the fact this was supposed to be a day of mourning, saying that they hated Austin Henry Owen and they are thrilled with his death, and they proceeded to fly flags at full mast, effectively boycotting the entire funeral and resulting in the Coffee Stained Republic Law Enforcement Agency fining and sending many Robloxians to community service for "disrespecting the government".
A nationwide funeral service in the form of a nationwide video conference was held on October 18. The representative of Ro-Sweden was the only representative of a country that attended. The video conference was ultimately cancelled in the middle of a formal eulogy after North Bloxifornians orchestrated a video conferencing raid which crashed the clients of the video conferencing software of the host. With no co-host appointed, the video conference stopped prematurely. After the service, Coeptus II said that he will bury Austin Henry Owen at Bloxywood Forever Cemetery in Bloxburg and that disrespect towards the Coffee Stained Republic is not permitted.
Assassination of Assassin
On October 22, as the assassin was at the assassin's home, unaware that the Coffee-Stained Republic has tracked him here, the assassin's home was bombed by a bomber plane belonging to the Coffee-Stained Republic, killing the assassin.
Official Investigations
The Coffee-Stained Republic Law Enforcement Agency
Since the Coffee-Stained Republic Law Enforcement Agency headquarters was destroyed, the interrogation of the assassin about the shootings of Austin Henry Owens and the brutality of police had to be held online while a newly retrofitted headquarters was to be constructed; these intermittent interviews lasted a long time. Throughout, the assassin resorted to statements that were found to be false before eventually admitting to have committed it 12 hours later. This is the only official investigation conducted.
Legacy
Political Impact and Memorialization
On October 21—five days after the assassination—Coeptus II posted a social media post saying that Coffee Stained Republic will continue to secede from Robloxia and that the assassin's days are numbered. Coeptus II called for the ban of the transport of arms to post office boxes to be added to federal law and swears to do the same for Robloxia if elected.
Austin Henry Owen's assassination also resulted in the Coffee-Stained Republic Law Enforcement Agency headquarters to be rebuilt and dedicated to Austin Henry Owens. It also resulted in the agency hiring at least 833 new Robloxians. The agency's budget has also increased.
Cultural Impact
Austin Henry Owen's assassination was the second of three major assassinations during the 2020s, coming four years before the assassination of the former President of Robloxia. For the public, Austin Henry Owen's assassination mythologized him into a heroic figure in Southern Bloxburg Valley and a villainous figure in North Bloxifornia.
Austin Henry Owen's murder left a flashbulb memory on many in the Coffee-Stained Republic. Asking "Where were you when you heard about Austin Henry Owen's assassination?" became a common topic of discussion. Journalists opined that the Austin Henry's assassination will be discussed for a long time.
Artifacts, museums, and locations today
The Coffee Stained Republic immediately designated a portion of Bloxburg Valley State Route 10 that was closed as the Austin Henry Owen Freeway. The Ground Force One back then has been sent to the Austin Henry Owen Museum. The autopsy X-rays, and Austin Henry Owen's blood-stained clothing are currently access controlled. There is also trauma room equipment, the pistol belonging to the assassin, and bullet fragments in there.
