Country Overview
The Anarchist Republic of Cookie Crumb Islands, officially the Anarchist Republic of the Cookie Crumb Islands, or ARCCI for short, is a nation consisting of the cookie crumb Archipelago, east of Blox Zealand. It was discovered by natives that would later become Native Cookie Crumbians. Eurobloxians discovered the island in 1790, and established a colony on the largest island in the Archipelago (modern day Capital Islands) and called the city New Bloxton City, which would later become the capital of the new nation. In 1980, after the Cookie Crumb Islands Revolutionary War (February 9th-November 19th, 1980), which replaced the corrupt regime, the new republican government adopted a doctrine of what they called, "Representative Anarchism".
History
The Cookie Crumb Archipelago, also known as the Cookie Crumb Islands, was first settled, around 200 BCE by Native Aquarians what would eventually become Native Cookie-Crumbeans. In 1790, Eurobloxans discovered the Cookie Crumb Islands, and founded a settlement they named New Bloxton City on the largest island in the archipelago, which is now modern-day Capital Island.
The Native Cookie-Crumbeans were initially wary, and sometimes hostile to the settlers, but after the two sides leaders met, they agreed to combine their cultures and countries. Throughout the 19th and early 20th centuries the colony federalized, becoming the Republic of the Cookie Crumb Islands (RCCI).
Although the RCCI remained neutral in Roblox War I, in 1941, the Neo-Japanese Empire launched a bombing campaign on the Cookie Crumb Islands, mainly the capital city of New Bloxton City, which forced the RCCI into the war. The main objective of the bombing campaign was to gain air superiority so the Neo-Japanese could invade the Cookie Crumb Islands, but since the archipelago was relatively isolated, the Neo-Japanese were unable to use their full aerial might, and after three months of aerial combat, the bombing and the invasion was called off. Later on in the war, the RCCI supported the Allied Robloxian forces in the Telamon campaign.
The Cookie Crumb Island Revolutionary War of 1980
The RCCI remained mostly neutral in the Cold War. However, in 1980, the fact that the government had been bribing the police to not investigate the mysterious deaths of the government's political opponents had become common knowledge, outraging the general public, which lead to protests calling for the government to step down or to investigate the mysterious death of its political opposition. When the government called the military to deal with the protests, only half of the army agreed. The rest joined the protesters and the protests became an armed rebellion.
At this time, another group threw their hat into the ring on the protester's side, namely an anarchist group by the name the United Anarchists of the Cookie Crumb Islands (UACCI). After much of the year of 1980 was spent in conflict between the government's forces and the rebel coalition, on the November 20th, 1980, the government house in New Bloxton City was stormed by the rebels and the president was captured. A day later on November 21st, the loyalist forces (the groups of the military and police that fought for the government) surrendered. The former president was charged with corruption and tampering with free elections and was sentenced to an unknown sentence in prison. After the president was thrown and sent to prison, the rebel leader then met up in the government house and drafted a new constitution, which reorganized the Republic of the Cookie Crumb Islands into the Anarchist Republic of the Cookie Crumb Islands.
Government
The government of the ARCCI is a combination of representative democracy and anarchism. The government is divided into three branches, the legislative branch, the executive branch, and the judicial branch.
The Legislative branch (the Cookie Crumb Senate)
The legislative branch of the ARCCI government is the Cookie Crumb Island Senate. There are 19 seats in the senate. Each state/island of the ARCCI has a senator. New senators are elected every 4 years. When the senate is discussing on passing a law, the members will debate and pass a vote. If the majority of senators rule for the bill, it will be sent to the executive branch for further debate and voting.
The Executive branch (The ARCCI council)
The executive branch of the ARCCI is the ARCCI Council, or just the Council for short. The council's main job is to review potential laws from the Senate, while also running the country. The council's members are the minister of defence, the minister of finance, the minister of education, the minister of transport, and the minister of health. When the council is reviewing a bill approved by the Senate, they will debate about the bill and again have a vote, if the majority of the ministers vote for the bill, the bill becomes law.
The Judicial branch
The judicial branch of the ARCCI government are the courts, and the courts are divided into a hierarchy as shown.
| Name | Job | Rank |
|---|---|---|
| High Court of the ARCCI | Resolve matters involving the constitution | highest ranking court in the ARCCI |
| Supreme court | Take very serious cases and appeals from the state courts | second highest ranking court |
| State courts | take serious crimes and appeals from the district court | 3rd highest courts |
| District Courts | take slightly more serious crimes than the magistrate courts | second lowest ranking |
| Magistrate court | deal with petty crimes | lowest ranking court |
