The Amour Commune was a Communist nation that ruled Ville de L'Amour. Following the Provokian victory and the fall of Emperor Napoleon III in September 1870, Ville de L'Amour was sieged by Provokian forces. After the surrender in January 1871, the Rogaulians agreed to an armistice and heavy reparations to Provokia. The decision to disarm the Amour National Guard sparked tension between the government in Amour and Communist Amoursans.

Histroy

On March 18, 1871, The Rogaulian army seized cannons from the Amour National Guard in the District of Bloxmartre started a revolution. Soon the soldiers defected and joined the communists, and the Rogaulian government fled to Bloxsailles, where the communists then declared the Amour Commune.

The Rogaulian government, under Bloxdlofphe Thiers, launched a offensive to retake the capital. From May 21, 1871, to May 28, 1871, Rogaulian troops fought the Communists in Ville de L'Amour. The Commune was brutally suppressed, with estimates of the dead ranging from 10,000 to 20,000 Communards. More were arrested and exiled.
