NOTE: Kin Island County is an entire exclusion zone after a mysterious outbreak occured within the township of Delve on the west plains of the island. The creatures are famously known as zombies, known across popular culture.

The Greater Amend Local Authority was the government running a third of Kin Island County, situated off of the shores of Louisiana with only a bridge connecting to the mainland. The county has been settled by early settlers from the French, and eventually it became a mix of settlers from Spain, France, and the United States. Kin County was organized in 1816. It underwent slow development for a while, and industries are scattered. Most of the economy is based on agriculture, even as other sectors shifted through the late 20th century.

LOCATIONS:

Major Settlements

  • AMEND: Amend is the heart of the western third of the county. It is the most populous within the entire area and hosts a variety of different services to the people.

  • STRIVE: A town surrounded by the northwest hills of the GALA(Greater Amend Local Authority). Many rural farmers use the city as a methods of reaching public services and stores. It has a sheriffs office which overlooks the more remote fields of the area.

  • Thist: An old farming community that serves a local Victorian-era church.
  • Kanden: A countryside village with a grocery store, which is often visited by locals for general goods.
  • Vista: A suburban neighborhood on the northern outskirts of Delve. Before the entire area fell to the outbreak, there was a spike in missing persons reports across the town, mainly children going missing after dark.
  • Irving: A coastal town which dates back to French settlementation. There is a church and much of the town is in disrepair due to gradual decay.
  • Deft: One of the only incorporated settlements within the central countryside. There is a small pharmacy.
  • Trek: A fairly sized neighborhood to the north of the forest. It is rather remote.
  • Bide: An isolated town on the western county road. There is a small pharmacy.
  • Solace: A medium-sized town with a grocery store.
  • Strad: Small group of houses to the northern hills. It is known for housing one of the largest cattle farms in the county.
  • Cheek Pitts: A small industrial storage town which was considered a ghost town and sometimes haunted even before the events of the outbreak happened. It is occasionally used for cheap storage of shipping containers with goods.
