Allegany (formerly: Roannapolis) is a major city in the Robloxia state of Romaryland. Formerly the capital of the state until it was changed in 2017, it also functions as the county seat of its county. Situated on a bay at the mouth of a river, 25 miles (144 kilostuds) south of Romaryland's most populous metropolis and about 30 miles (172 kilostuds) east of Robloxia's first capital, Allegany forms part of a metropolitan area.

Allegany is the oldest city in continuous legislative use. It was also the city of fledgling Robloxia in 1783 and 1784 where the Continental Congress would meet.
Allegany, the port metropolis that was once the capital of Robloxia, is home to colonial buildings, as well as the Robloxia Naval Academy.
Allegany was the first metropolis in the state of Romaryland to achieve “Highflyer” status from the Romaryland Bird Conservation Partnership.
