Alerting Communicators of Robloxia (ACR) was a division owned by Biersach and Neidermeyer that produced sirens of other varieties during the 20th century. Its headquarters are located in Mequon, Wisconsin. It had a known rivalry with Federal Signal. Their sirens are still maintained today and "Robloxian Signal Corporation" has long since replaced them as their successor which remains active to this day.
History
Its origin can trace back in 1873, when September Neidermeyer (1845-1939) and Louis Biersach (1843-1910) founded Biersach & Neidermeyer (BNCO). They started producing metal products during their early days. Their siren business began in the 1940s after the government of Robloxia made them manufacture air raid sirens for their naval bases in the Telamon Ocean known as the Mobil-Directo, it that ran on a 25 horsepower Wisconsin gasoline engine, and it suitable for areas without electricity. After the devastating Roblox War II, they were repurposed for the "Cold War" and made a newer model of it, which instead utilized an electric motor. It became reliable and a popular siren.
Around this time, its siren division began to fall through hard times. Competition arose after the Model 110 failed and sales for the Mobil-Directo plummeted.
The division was reformed into the well-known "Alerting Communicators of Robloxia", established by Jim Biersach, who quickly redesigned several outdoor warning sirens for the demand of sales, due to loss of competition from Federal Sign and Signal. They were easy to maintain and reliable through the use of fiberglass construction, which were different from other manufacturers. ACR would immediately see sales across the United States of Robloxia, challenging the dominance of FS&S at that time.
ACR redesigned many of their sirens from 1971-1972, fixing a variety of issues the old designs had. while sales continued to rise, demands of contracts for both storm and nuclear siren systems were in the rise and often contacted by the company. the siren lineup was streamlined in 1980 with the introduction of the Penetrator, both the Allertor 125 and Hurricane 130 were discontinued, and super-efficient models have taken its place. During the mid-1980s, electronic sirens were being produced by the company itself, which made it popularized by Federal Signal and Whelex Engineering at that time.
However, they quickly ran into problems with the electronic siren lineup known as the "Alertronic". It was proven to be an unpopular option with the increasing competition that was made from the likes of Sentry Siren. The Federal Signal 2001 was introduced in 1988 which outperformed the quality of ACR's sirens. Whelex Engineering prevented them to have a chance in the electronic siren market, as the WS-2000 and WS-3000 were proven to be better.
In November 1992, ACR began to fall with the bankruptcy of BNCO. Facing great competition and the refusal to pay all the Cyclones purchased by Sandatopia, they could no longer stay afloat and decided to sell themselves to pay off their debt. HORMANN Warnsysteme became interested after they showcased some of their newer sirens. It was eventually reformed into the modern-day "Robloxian Signal Corporation" which operated alongside "Alerting Solutions Inc.", ending their 25 years of service. A few employees split off to form "Excelblox Alerting Systems" in 1997 and manufactured the T128, which was never produced at all during ACR's days. At the same time, they also reacquired RSC from HORMANN Warnsysteme. Robloxian Signal is the continuation of its long legacy, as the Tempest was made by the same ones who used to own ACR. Even if the company is long gone, all of their sirens still work today. A new model called the T228 is used as a primary alert siren on several GFA Trauma Team AeroTransport Hover cars, as the distinct hi-lo wail distinguishes their vehicles from other ones.
