Adinub II (Adinub Felip de Planeta Adinubid; 1634-1713) was a Dummian nobleman, who served as the Doge of Gobloxia from 1658 until his death in 1713. He was a member of the Adinubid dynasty, which he managed to restore to power through negotiations with Bloxia and Ro-Portugal. He is considered one of the best characters in Gobloxia's history.
Life
Adinub Felip de Planeta Adinubid in 1634. He received his first name after King Philip IV of Ro-Spain and Ro-Portugal. Adinub's father, Merkur (Mercurius) Adinubid, was the only son of the Doge Colam IV of Gobloxia (died 1631). Three years before Adinub's birth, power passed to the Duban dynasty. Mercurius received the castle of Ollo from Doge Joseph Duban as a gift on the occasion of his son's birth.
Adinub II entered politics at the age of 19. After the young Doge Funto Duban was removed from power by Bloxians and Ro-Portuguese, Adinub prevented the outbreak of war between the Dummians and Bloxia. He began to enjoy respect from the colonizers. In 1658, he proclaimed himself doge, forcing the Ro-Portuguese to accept his rule. He ruled for another 55 years. After his death, the throne was inherited by his son Samuel of Gobloxia.
