The 450,000,000 BCE Great Bloxican Earthquake was a 10.4 moment magnitude earthquake that struck in the Gulf of Bloxico, just SE of present-day Bouston, Bloxas 450,000,000 years ago. It triggered The Despacito Humans Extinction. The shaking from this earthquake was felt 3,000 miles from the epicenter. The earthquake was found to be genuine on May 18, 2021.

Pre-earthquake
Until 9 years prior to the earthquake, the area was quiet. 6 years prior to the earthquake, a tremor, a magnitude 5.4, impacted around 9 miles south of the main earthquake's epicenter. Much speculation by the Despacito Humans went into this tremor as it was thought to have been a foreshock of an earthquake. This was the case. 6 months later, another, slightly larger, tremor impacted the same area, with a magnitude of 6.5. Even more speculation went into this, as foreshocks, on average, increased in size and Despacito seismologists prayed this will be the main earthquake.
Despacito Seismologists issued an extra precaution warning for the present-day country of Bloxico. 12-18 months before the earthquake, 4 more tremors ranging between 5.7 and 6.7 struck in the same area. The Bloxico Geological Survey (BGS) put the area surrounding Jailbreak City in "High" risk of a major earthquake for 2 years. 9 months before the earthquake, a non-significant magnitude 6.5 earthquake struck present-day Bloxico City, Bloxico, injuring 15 Despacito humans. 6 months before the earthquake, a 7.5 magnitude earthquake impacted, sending shaking all the way to Bloxico City, Bloxico. The 3 months before the earthquake, the area was quiet for the third time until a month before the earthquake, when a magnitude 8.4 earthquake impacted.
During earthquake
At an unknown date and time, the 10.4 magnitude earthquake struck violently.
Post-earthquake
This tremor was followed by almost 663,000 aftershocks, with the second strongest, a 9.1 magnitude tremor occurring 3 days after the main shock. 4.2% were over magnitude 7, 7.2% were over magnitude 6, and the rest below 6. Around 4.2% of those aftershocks were felt as far as 1,000 miles from the epicenter. This earthquake, due to the extensive nature of it, also caused other, more local earthquakes, such as a 6.7 east of Bloxico City, a 6.9(noice) in Bloxico City International Airport, and a 5.7 offshore of Bloxico. Colossal fires broke out near Bloxico and Despacito fire fighters were about to put out the massive fires when the first strongest, a 9.5 magnitude tremor occurred. Most of the aftershocks over magnitude 5.5 were between 8 to 10.
The Tsunami
The seismic waves went over the coast of Jailbreak City, pushing the water away from the shore, which exposed a 30-mile portion of the coast of Bloxico to be barren. The result was a 1005-meter-tall wave that leveled the coastal communities of the Gulf of Bloxico and 2280 miles inland.
In Bloxico City, the wave destroyed the Bloxico City Metropolitan Cathedral. The wave held its 1005-meter height until it hit downtown, knocking over the already majorly damaged skyscrapers. It went as far inland as 30 miles, causing hills to become lone islands.
In Bloxico City, 450,000 buildings collapsed to the tsunami, with another 1,347,000 with moderate-major damage, making them uninhabitable. Many Bloxico City Metro Trains were caught off-guard, with a Bloxico City Metro train outside of Bloxico City getting derailed due to the tsunami. Researched by scientists later, they discovered that this was a once every 1,041,000-year event. Huge areas of the Bloxico City lost power. Some of the older houses in Bloxico City reported being without power. Older apartments in Bloxico City lost power. Water also was cut off significantly in some localities. 15 aqueducts were completely destroyed due to the tsunami. Huge portions of Circuito exterior del estado de Blôxico, or the Outer Loop of the State of Bloxico also collapsed and/or sustained major damage, making them inaccessible. Bloxico City Metro was closed due to damage to the Bloxico City Metro trains and the tracks, and due to huge-scale inspections. Many Despacito Humans got broken arms and legs.
In the rest of the Gulf of Bloxico, 1,203,000 buildings either collapsed to the tsunami or survived with moderate-major damage, making them uninhabitable. 15 trains were caught off-guard, with a train 3,000 miles from the epicenter getting derailed due to the tsunami. Huge areas of the Gulf of Bloxico lost power. Some of the older houses in Gulf of Bloxico reported being without power. Older apartments in Gulf of Bloxico lost power. Water also was cut off significantly in some localities. 15 aqueducts were completely destroyed due to the tsunami. Huge portions of Interbloxs and Federal Highways also collapsed and/or sustained major damage, making them inaccessible. The rail system was closed due to damage to the trains and the tracks, and due to huge-scale inspections. Despacito Humans and Robloxians died in trains from being thrown into the roof or receiving a major concussion. Many Despacito Humans and Robloxians also got broken arms and legs. Robloxians and Despacito Humans also died because of collapsed buildings.
Over 28.5 million Robloxians and Despacito Humans were displaced or rendered homeless, and 150,000 were injured, with Robloxian Red Cross, Bloxican Red Cross and many other charities establishing camps to treat the wounded and temporarily house nearly 1,800,000 refugees in Bloxico City or in Bouston, Bloxas, often in crowded and unsanitary conditions without electricity or running water.
The event triggered a stock market crash from both sides of the tsunami and devastated the economy of the region. The disaster was the center point of the -450,000,000 CE presidential election of Robloxia (4-year) and Bloxico (6-year), and public dissatisfaction with both presidents' treatment of the tsunami, and Robloxian Red Cross, Bloxican Red Cross, and Charities mismanagement.
Overall, 56% of the Despacito Humans died from this disaster to the next.
Extreme losses will be complicated later on because of a second disaster, said to be the result of the earthquake.
The Volcano Eruption Outbreak
The Volcano Eruption Outbreak was a volcanic eruption outbreak occurring in the Bloxican Peninsula. Eruptions on average were categorized as Severe VEI 4. It drenched the cities near the peninsula with hot lava, ash, pumice, and weak pyroclastic flows. Lava bombs were thrown for tens of meters. In addition, many blackouts and power outages occurred. In some cases, global temperatures were observed to have dropped by 0.2-0.3 degrees Fahrenheit post-eruption. The cooler global temperatures lead to the disappearance of the perpetual yellow-orange aurora and despacito clouds Bloxico-wide. On average, for each eruption, 8 Despacito Humans died, and 20 others were injured during the eruption. Damages once evaluations were completed averaged R$28B ($70M), which is normal for the area.
The Bloxico Geological Society have noticed that some activity begun on Peninsula. Later, steam eruptions were seen from the Peninsula. It was a weak VEI-0 eruption. The President of Bloxico said that "If there are indications of a major eruption, we will let Despacito Humans evacuate from the peninsula."
A small ash plume was seen around the peninsula and its neighboring cities. The ash was sent up to 10 kilometers from surface. However, it was not seen from space. The President of Bloxico ordered for an evacuation of the Despacito Humans nearby the peninsula. It was an alarming volcanic activity. The eruption is now categorized as a Moderate VEI-2.
A second major eruption began after the plume, which was more violent this time. The eruption column began to rise higher than the first one. A state of emergency was issued on Bloxican Peninsula as volcanoes on the peninsula erupt. They all spewed ash throughout nearby cities and marked a larger phase at the time it erupted at that time, and its record of its highest eruption column of its latest activity until the Third Phase began. It was categorized as a Considerable VEI-3.
Falling ash was recorded on the Bloxican Peninsula region and its neighboring regions.
The Bloxican Peninsula saw a huge steam smoke. It was a small eruption, causing medium-sized landslides when the activity began.
Hundreds of thousands in the nearby cities flee. Some chose to evacuate in neighboring cities, and some chose to stay inside the disaster shelter. It was a deadly day.
The eruption followed a hurricane which is near the coast of the Bloxican Peninsula. The light thunderstorm neared the Bloxican Peninsula, making it a double disaster combination. Falling ash became more intense and lethal with a mixture of rain and mudflows came along after its eruption.
Then pyroclastic flow came. The pyroclastic flow's deposits have reached the peninsula, which resulted in direct deaths. Falling ash has even affected the neighboring cities, which caused another phase of direct deaths. A rare flash flood inside one of the subway trains occurred which filled half of the subway station. 10% of the water was mixed with ash from The Peninsula. The metro station was cleared later. It was said later to be caused by a double disaster.
Even the Bloxican Armed Forces evacuated. Some even reached a neighboring city. The peninsula continues its eruption. The eruption halted into a magmatic eruption. Landslides were reported on both sides of the Bloxican Peninsula. The peninsula won't stop erupting.
The fourth phase of the eruption of the peninsula occurred shortly after its low-level magmatic eruption. The eruption column reached 2.4 km.
When the final phase eruption began, clouds of ash were thrown 32 km into the atmosphere.
The Bloxico City caught the eruption early.
During the eruption, lava immediately began to flow from both sides of the peninsula in rivers, flowing quickly for a lava flow into nearby towns and cities, causing 28 billion ROBUX in damages each, mostly to the downtown areas, as they were choked by ash and buried by the lava flows. On average, 6 Despacito Humans died from the final phase eruption, but 20 Despacito Humans got injured.
After the main eruption, there was a smaller eruption. The ash and smoke in the air made the global temperature drop by 0.2-0.3 degrees Fahrenheit while causing the disappearance of the perpetual yellow-orange aurora and despacito clouds Bloxico-wide.
In the aftermath of the eruption, as many as 405,000 Despacito Humans were made homeless, and 625,000 Despacito Humans were left without a job, as the local population relied on farming to make their livings. The shortage of food therefore led to a famine, until aid reached the area 2 weeks later, ending the famine, and giving out food and water supplies to the stricken population, along with vaccinations for the area, as many people were suffering from dirty water related diseases. Aid was quickly given, and as a result, the death toll was kept incredibly low, at 8 Despacito Humans dead. However, it was not remarkable because there was a warning prior to the eruption. It wasn't pretty long before the next disaster struck, said to be the result of the eruption.
The eruption disrupted air traffic, causing one of the most interrupted air travel due to the peninsula eruption, with some reaching Bloxifornia due to some reports of sulfur dioxide and volcanic aerosol reaching Bloxifornia. Millions were affected by this type of air traffic interruption.
Due to heavy traffic during evacuation, The Federal government of Bloxico set up emergency evacuation airplanes and set up airplane evacuation routes.
Avalanches
Avalanches slide down, killing 87% of Despacito Humans.
