The 2989 BCE Mt.Blox Eruption was the first known eruption to occur on Mt.Blox, though an estimated 5,000 eruptions preceded it. The eruption was categorized as Major VEI 7. It began on May 9, 2989 BCE and ran for 14 consecutive years, drenching Robloxia with hot lava, ash, pumice, hot blocks, pyroclastic flows. Lava bombs were thrown for tens of kilometers. Robloxia's climate was affected by this eruption. In some cases, global temperatures were observed to have dropped to Absolute Zero post eruption. Following the eruption, 36,000 people died, and 900,000 others were injured during the eruption and additional small secondary vent eruptions. Damages once evaluations were completed totaled an inflation adjusted R$70T ( $175B ), which is normal for the area. It caused devastation for up to 10,000 miles from the main vent, with the ash cloud extending up to 12,500 miles from the vent. Robloxians called Mt.Blox the Tambora of the Roblox World, for overall, the eruption was pretty similar to what occurred on Mount Tambora in the real world. 200 small secondary vents in the area also erupted along with the main vent.
Pre-Eruption to Beginning
1083 years ago, a powerful earthquake estimating over magnitude 9.9 rocked what would be the Amazeman City. The tremors reached this volcano. Some volcanologists say that this brought this volcano back to life. It caught most Robloxians offguard. The earthquake caused a total of 163 trillion ROBUX (2021 R$) of damage and killed 65,000 people. It was not included in the evaluations and the death toll.
650 years ago, two powerful earthquakes estimating over magnitude 12.8 and 13.3 respectively rocked what would be Robloxia and Jailbreak City. The tremors from both of them reached this Volcano. Some volcanologists say that this brought Titan Volcano back to life. Those two earthquakes caught most Robloxians offguard. The earthquakes killed a grand total of 387,500,000 people. Most people thought that the worst was over. Little did they know that this was the dawn of the Titan Volcano. However, it was not included in the evaluations and the death toll.
On May 9, 2989 BCE, people have noticed that some activity begun on Mt.Blox. Later that day, a steam eruption was seen from Titan Volcano. It was a considerable VEI-3 eruption.
2 years later, a colossal ash plume was seen around 44% of the country. The ash was sent up to 25,000 kilometers from surface. The mayor ordered for an evacuation of the Robloxians nearby the volcano, which was issued 1 year after. It was an alarming volcanic activity. The eruption is now categorized as a Severe VEI-5.
A second major eruption began 3 months after the plume, which was more violent this time. The eruption column began to rise higher than the first one. A state of emergency was issued on 44% of the country as Mt.Blox erupts. It spewed ash throughout 44% of the country and marked a larger phase at the time it erupted at that time, and its record of its highest eruption column of its latest activity until the Third Phase began. It was categorized as a Serious VEI-6.
Falling ash was recorded on 44% of the country. The largest seismic activity was recorded when a Magnitude 6.9(noice) rocked the volcano.
A month after the second major eruption, a colossal Magnitude 8.3 earthquake shook the volcano and the country following a colossal steam smoke. It was a small eruption. It also caused a colossal-sized landslide when the activity began, which decreased the size of the mountain not significantly to affect height.
Hundreds of millions in the country flee. Everyone chose to evacuate in neighboring countries. It was a deadly day.
The eruption followed hurricanes which are near the coast. The hurricanes neared Titan Volcano, making it a double disaster combination. Falling ash became more intense and lethal with a mixture of rain and mudflows came along after its eruption.
Then pyroclastic flow came. The pyroclastic flow's deposits have reached the country, which resulted in at least 2,500 direct deaths. Falling ash has even affected the country, which caused another 2,500 direct deaths.
The volcano continues its eruption, 10 days later. The eruption halted into a magmatic eruption. The magmatic eruption started with a colossal-sized 8.2 earthquake along with high level magmatic eruption which caused a landslide. The volcano won't stop erupting, even 10 days after.
The fourth phase of the eruption of Mt.Blox occurred shortly after its high level magmatic eruption. The eruption column reached 6000 km. A magnitude 7.9 (aftershock of 8.2 earthquake) occurred and continued its eruption throughout the phase. With the fourth phase, the official preliminary phases of the major eruption has ended.
When the final phase eruption began, a cloud of ash was thrown 80000 km into the atmosphere.
Early Warning Systems
Unfortunately, no Robloxian caught the eruption early.
Eruption
During the eruption, lava immediately began to flow from the volcano's crater in rivers, flowing quickly for a lava flow into nearby countries, causing 70 trillion ROBUX in damages, mostly to the country, as they were choked by ash and buried by the lava flows. 27,000 people died from the final phase eruption, but 675,000 people got injured.
200 small secondary vents additionally killed 4,000 people and injured 225,000 people.
Post-Eruption to Aftermath
After the main eruption, there was a smaller self-similar eruption. The ash and smoke in the air made the global temperature drop to Absolute Zero.
In the aftermath of the eruption, as many as 1 billion people were made homeless, and 1.5 billion were left without a job, as the local population relied on farming to make their livings. The shortage of food therefore led to a global famine, until aid reached the area 100 years later, ending the famine, and giving out food and water supplies to the stricken population, along with medicine for the area, as many people were suffering from dirty water related diseases. Aid was quickly given, and as a result, the death toll was kept incredibly low, at 20,000 dead. It was remarkable at that time, given the fact no early warning systems existed yet.
Effects on transportation
The eruption disrupted all traffic, causing one of the most interrupted travel due to the volcano, with some reaching Bloxifornia due to some reports of sulfur dioxide and volcanic aerosol reaching Bloxifornia. Billions were affected by this type of traffic interruption. Due to heavy traffic during evacuation, people set up emergency evacuation carriages and set up carriage evacuation routes.
