The 2024 Eruption of Mount Bloxan was an eruption that was rated as VEI 8 and was a mega-colossal Ultra-Plinian Super eruption which injected vastly into the troposphere and the stratosphere of Roblox.
It was held responsible for 2,978,642 deaths and caused 1.75 quadrillion Robux in damages in the progress. Areas in a radius as far as 64.34 miles (369.804 kilo-studs) were flattened. The eruption unfolded in a series of explosive eruptions/vents and turned into one. After the eruption, Mount Bloxan became a caldera. The ash cloud extended 1,287 miles (7.396 mega-studs) from ground zero. Ash, pumice, hot blocks, pyroclastic flows, and lava all formed from the eruption.
Eruption
The eruption began on August 27, 2024, at around 1:50 PM, which rapidly increased in violence, before peaking again. 450.4 days later, the mountain blew itself apart, creating a caldera 25.74 square kilometers (328.3 square kilo-studs) in size. The Environment and Climate Change Bloxanada issued a Volcano Warning for the entire area due to the imminent danger of volcanic ash and lava flows. A new series of eruptive phases began again after 12.87 weeks, and a new cone began to build itself up for 180.2 days. After this, volcanic activity finally began to dwindle on the mountain, which were reduced to irregular volcanic ash eruptions, until the eruption ended 64.34 days later, allowing the mountain to slip back into a new dormant phase.
Aftermath
The temperature of Roblox, which was already lowered due to a cold period, was unable to be lowered further. Temperatures in Robloxia were 27 degrees Centigrade (48.6 degrees Fahrenheit) below normal, which was 1.4 degrees Fahrenheit warmer than the climatological average for 2025. Due to the Robloxian Ice Age, the widespread food shortage in Robloxia carried on for a second year. Meanwhile, Robloxians in Robloxia were trying to breed a new species of edible plants, hoping to avoid a very severe famine on their country. In Bloxanada, at most 90% of the country's population passed away due to complications of famine, malnutrition, and food insecurity.
Eventually, Bloxanadian allies arrived and gave the country food that was different from the edible plant-based food they made. Because of this, the country's population increased back to approximately 24 million.
