2022 Roblox Cities Wiki Cyberattack

On January 15th, 2022, a citizen from The Nighthawk Imperium would begin to plan a cyberattack classified as content removal and vandalism against an electronic encyclopedia, namely Roblox Cities WIki.

During the 2022 Roblox Cities Wiki Cyberattack

Part 1: The Cyberattack

A citizen in The Nighthawk Imperium raided, essentially and directly cyberattacking the Roblox Cities Wiki. The attack commenced on January 15, 2022, 15:44:05, when 16,337 bytes were reported to be lost on the Bloxburg article. After the local press called the attacker "a citizen from The Nighthawk Imperium", the attacker changed aliases to hide his past.

On January 15, 2022, 15:52:19, another article was attacked, namely City of Thailand, which lost 37,005 bytes.

On January 15, 2022, 15:53:20, another article was attacked, namely Seaboard City, which lost 16,845 bytes.

On January 15, 2022, 15:55:22, another article was attacked, namely West Bloxburg, which lost 940 bytes.

On January 15, 2022, 15:56:20, another article was attacked, namely Bloxburg Valley State Route 1, which lost 549 bytes.

On January 15, 2022, 15:57:47, another article was attacked, namely Yellowbrick Supervolcano, which lost 354 bytes.

On January 15, 2022, 16:01:11, another article was attacked, namely Liberty County, Robloxia , which lost 9,488 bytes.

On January 15, 2022, 16:06:14, an eyewitness named AmigoVilla2004 witnessed an article being attacked in front of his very own eyes. He said this:

On January 15, 2022, 16:06:46, the last article was attacked, namely Robloxia (country), which lost 10,732 bytes.

=== Part 2: Caught RED -handed === On January 15, 2022, 16:10:04, the police found the attacker. The following is a transcript on what transpired. (Please note that the attacker's identity is unknown as of the time this conversation transpired)

[Police Officer]: "You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say on your talk page can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to an attorney. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be provided for you." *Presses record*

[████████████████]: "I am an Intelligence Worker at the RSCP Foundation; I am hereby saying to contact Rho-9 if I edit your page, I did not do anything wrong, I am just doing my job."

[Police Officer]: *Presses stop* *checks this*. "Playing the RSCP Foundation trick on me, huh? If you are from the RSCP Foundation, then why is it not in the list of every RSCP Mobile Task Force unit? You are under arrest for impersonating an RSCP Foundation intelligence worker."

Part 3: Court

The police took the impostor RSCP Foundation intelligence worker to court, where he met his jury, which consisted of one eyewitness and two Robloxians who have been informed by the eyewitness (one of whom was Vietbloxese). (For sake of brevity, we will not include what transpired in the court case of ████████████████ vs. Roblox Cities Wiki. )

After the 2022 Roblox Cities Wiki Cyberattack and A Return To Normalcy

Following the dismissal of court, the second Roblox Cities Wiki Bureaucrat decided to issue a poll to protect all attacked articles for a specified duration after using rollbacks to roll back a series of vandalistic edits made by the attacker. The bureaucrat dismissed proposals for an indefinite protection, citing that it would violate the definition of a wiki in the first place if articles in the Main namespace were to be indefinitely protected. The defendant is currently imprisoned to death for cyberattack.

The second Roblox Cities Wiki Bureaucrat later hired four administrators for one week, citing the potential of a second cyberattack in the near future, namely within one week of the first.

Roblox Cities Wiki and countless web pages in Robloxia were forced to convert to Black and White (essentially greyscaled) for the remainder of the day to pay respect to all bytes that were lost during the attack.
