2022 (also known as AD 2022, pronounced as "two thousand twenty-two", shorten to "22" and its meaning is "balance, hope, commitment, and trust”) was a common year, starting on Saturday of the world calendar and is the 2022rd year in the Common Era (CE).

January

• January 6 – Over 8,000,000 Thai people assaulted and rioted at the URC Headquarters, breaking into the main office and injuring a number of personnel.^[1]
• January 11 – In the Greater Bloxburg City Metro area, there are a lot of new COVID-19 cases being reported; over 9,000 persons are thought to be infected. This is the biggest and quickest period of time that a virus has impacted close to 10,000 people.^[2]

• An EF4 tornado strike Hazelton City, destroying Hazelton Lakes, and the north of the Principal City, leaving 154 dead and 493 injured, is the last tornado more than a EF2 in scale to strike Hazelton.
