The 2021 Robloxian Derby Bombings, also known as The Tragedy at Celestial Field, was a series of bombings during the 2021 Robloxian League Final on June 16th, 2021, at the Celestial Field Stadium located in Amazeman CIty. Several bombings were reported inside and outside the stadium, and streets near the area. A total of 55,000 casualties were reported, making it one of the worst bombings in Robloxian history. The perpetrators of the attack were loyalists and members of the Bloxia Uniters terrorist group.
Background
The Robloxian League Final already had much concern for security and safety months before. There were already many attempted shootings at the qualifying matches before. Many people could sense something was brewing, and many were right. On January 24th, 2021, at a qualifying match between PLS Pacifico and Storm Valley Falcons, a heavily armed man breached the stadium and opened fire. The suspect managed to shoot up anybody and anything in his path. 34 Robloxians were injured and 18 lost their lives, including 26-year-old Falcon midfielder John Crozier. The suspect later took his own life after being surrounded by police. The suspect was later identified as a 24-year-old man named Samuel Rashford who pledged their allegiance towards Bloxia Uniters on his social media just 4 hours before. Many people called the boards of the Robloxian Football League Association to step up their security and to protect their fans and players. The RFLA simply gave their condolences, but nothing was done to combat this.
Incident
After the semifinals between Blox Madrid and Lonchester City, and Athletico Bloxrid and Bloxventus, and months of planning and setting up the final match, the RLF final was set. The match was against rival teams Blox Madrid and Athletico Boxrid, also known as the Robloxian derby. The match was set for June 15th, 2021, at 6:30 PM. An estimated 80,000 fans were expected to show at the match; however due to fear of an attack, that number was significantly lower, to just 45,000 fans appearing. At 6:30 PM, the kickoff started, and the game started. After around 20 minutes, many of the fans started chanting "20 MINUTES! 20 MINUTES!". They were taunting and making fun of the fans who were in fear of an attack and showing them that they made it past a while. Just 3 minutes after that, Real Bloxrid striker Vinicius. Jr scored a bicycle kick, making it 1-0 at the 23rd minute. Blox Madrid fans started going absolutely crazy, celebrating like nothing before. Many Robloxians soon realized that they did not need 80,000 fans to fill up the stadium, because Real Bloxrid fans were enough for the game. Everybody was enjoying themselves, having fun, celebrating, just what somebody would expect at a soccer match. Just approximately 28 seconds later, the whole stadium turned into a massive mushroom cloud.
