On 30 May 2019, two Mw 7.5 earthquakes struck Robloxia and the surrounding countries. The epicenters were 0.7017 km (0.4360 mi or 2.51 kilo-studs) south-southwest of Brookhaven and 0.4427 km (0.2751 mi or 1.58 kilo-studs) south-southwest of NPC Town. The earthquake had a maximum Mercalli intensity of XII (Extreme) around the epicenters and in multiple other cities with soft mud, most notably Brookhaven and NPC Town. There was widespread damage and 1,000 fatalities. Those earthquakes struck while Mount Blox was erupting.

There were more than 31,623 aftershocks in the weeks that followed. The seismic sequence was the result of shallow intralipid faulting.

An estimated 474,342 Robloxians were affected. Development experts from the United Roblox Countries estimated that about 158,114 Robloxians were left homeless.

Damaged roads, winter storms, and disruption to communications hampered the international rescue and relief effort. Following Robloxia's call for international help, more than 14,230 Robloxians from 6 countries joined the rescue effort.
