Synopis
The Blue Grove Doppler Radar Convective Outlook issued a Medium Risk for Central-South Bloxalberta. Noticeable wind shear was noticed at a wind speed of 34-48 kts. THE Low Risk managed to head into Bloxaskacthewan. High dew points also made sticky air and humid was low. The area now reached the High risk of a Tornado.
The warm front was heading north towards the areas of RoPeace River. The slight risk was increased into the Mackanzi County and a bit of the Northwest Valley.
At 1:45 PM, The Enviorment and Climate Change Bloxanada issued a Yellow Watch from Severe and Supercell Thunderstorms soon in the Mid and High Risks.
At 3:56 PM, a ton of cumulus congestus were found just north of Blue Deer heading West, but the wind currents changed northeast. The cumulus congestus made a supercell thunderstorm. The main storm headed northeast targeted at Treemont until the storm changed by the wind shear again. The supercell rotated and formed a funnel.
Just at 4:21 PM the storms funnel touched down but it was not strong and had strength of a EF1. Bloxedmonton then issued a Tornado Watch for Bloxedmonton, Blue Grove, Leducblox, Nesku, and Grassy Plain. It also reported extreme hail located in the Birchville area (just east of Bloxedmonton).
It is 4:29 PM and a funnel touched down right after the weak EF1 tornado went up. The weak EF1's supercell was targeted for Birchville but decayed after crossing Gateway Boulevard. Birchville and Bloxalberta Highway 216 made a Flash Flood Warning.
Just under the supercells another cell formed north of Lacombe. It headed north and made a funnel cloud touching down on the BA-2 area. It stayed on the ground for 6 minutes until the tornado decayed but the supercell was at Leducblox.
At 4:31, a Tornado Emergency was alerted for the Western Bloxedmonton area. The new funnel started to grow very fast and started turning into a wedge looking tornado. A storm chaser named Hadiw Dunmin managed to intercept the EF4 nado. It detected about 187 MPH winds and the DOW also found 189. The tornado cutted through a tiny Bloxedmonton suburb and it elimanted 2 lives and injured 300 people. Someone then took a picture near a Bloxdonalds picturing the huge EF5 nado. It then headed for Grassy Grove.
It crossed the Greenmud Highway and made a truck fall and it made a car fly up getting 1 life. It entered the Delwood Suburb and it demolished one 7th of the suburb. There were only injuries of 40 and the damage was enough for a EF5.
The tornado was just about to reach the BA-16A interchange. It made 4 cars crashing into rollovers which caused minor injuries to them. It crossed it and it reached the town of Grassy Grove. The tornado was targeted for the centre, which caused damage in downtown and made trains derail. It was pictured again in a Wilmart/Bloxmart just from Blue Grove. It elimanted 4 lives in the town. and left with 2,000 people injured.
After it crossed Grassy Grove, it headed toward the Greenfoot Highway (Trans Bloxanada Highway 16) and it injured 40 and claimed 2. It started weakening into a EF2 and it headed toward St Morinville. It dissipated right after it was very close.
Damage/Aftermath
After it dissipated, the premier of Bloxalberta went to the area after he flew back here 1 day ago. He said in the news: I didnt know that this thing was strong, it almost injured our communites.
It left a scar in the west area and construction managed to refix Grassy Grove for about 4-5 years
The Enhanced Fujita Rating: The tornado was about 4 km wide and rated a EF5 by winds because it was 209. The damage was also a EF5 as it demolished a suburb into rust and crossed an entire town turning 1/3 of the town into dirt.
