The April Fools Terrorist Attack of 2012 was a terrorist attack that took place throughout the country. The Federal Office of Administrators (OFA) responded quickly to the attack and as soon as the drama began, this Office began an investigation called the April Investigation. The alleged terrorists entered the admin panel, belonging to the OFA.
Background
According to investigations by the OFA and the Government, the incident started when the terrorists Ellernate, iTrapped and Caleb 244 managed to enter the OFA administration panel, this was achieved when the same user created an account in SiteTest3 with the name of an OFA administrator.
On April 1, 2012, the terrorists Ellernate logged into a government account at SiteTest3, obtaining his .ROBLOSECURITY code,. With this code, he can now send emergency alert warnings.
The Robloxian economy was involved during a discussion between Minish and Merely. One of the terrorists is said to have taken over Minish, causing him to purchase Merely's famous Domino Crown, which was Merely's favorite item. The government forums soon exploded with thousands upon thousands of related discussions and messages about the events. Two of the users were found guilty.
Soon after, citizens Pheedy and are17, both taken hostage under the control of terrorist leader Ellernate, were given government abilities and used their elevated privileges to clear Minish's name. The prices of hats in avatar stores dropped enormously during this time, and the hats were thrown per minute for 1 Robux, causing millions of people to quickly buy these accessories. Looting was also reported in several supermarkets and shopping centers in various cities, including the capital, greatly affecting ROBLOX's economy. Some names of the hats were also changed, such as Explosive Hair that was changed to Rocket Hair, Hooded Spacelord to Noob Hood and Mementero Mori to Candle Skull. This was done by a terrorist.
The terrorist then created several new items during this time. The terrorist gained presidential privileges, causing the terrorist to go undercover and were able to create a face named c: that would sell for 100 ROBUX while posing as the president. The only citizen who bought it was Stickmasterluke, which was believed to be later taken hostage. Citizens for some reason were not able to purchase this item.
It is believed that the mayor of Robloxia(the town, not the nation) was taken hostage. Many items were marked as property of him and the terrorists changed his look multiple times. The OFA decided to arrest the mayor of Robloxia, but was later released temporarily so he could make his town open to inspiration before his public execution.

The terrorist managed to hijack the Emergency Alert System. Here's all the emergency alert warnings that were sent on the day of the attack in order of time.

Roblox's Government Response
After all this activity occurred, the president ordered martial law and later reported in a statement that they were trying to repair the monetary system. The country website returned to normal overnight on April 1. The OFA test admin panel was updated, and all avatar stores were closed until the next night.
In a Roblox Government post on April 2, it was announced that "(Roblox) experienced a national issue the evening of April 1st..., and (they) shut the government down". They noted that "Several assets were released from (the avatar shop) backlog that were not ready for production", and "Several citizens were incorrectly granted large amounts of currency; some of these currencies were subsequently traded with other accounts". Some items were updated with new prices, while other items were later sold out. A face "c:" was later renamed to "Dr. Smyth Face" and was temporarily available for purchase.

Ellernate
Ellernate was a Robloxian known for being a terrorist in the 2012 April Fools Terrorist Attack. Before being deported, he was a successful bank robber.
2012 April Fools Terrorist Attack
Ellernate along with ITrapped and Caleb244 accessed the OFA Administration Panel on April 1st, 2012. One of them created a government account on a government testing site under a federal employee's username. From there, they caused havoc through manipulating the economy, sending emergency alert warnings, hacking more federal employees accounts, and more.
Deportation
On April 2, 2012, Ellernate was deported due to his involvement in the 2012 April Fools Terrorist Attack. An unconfirmed alias he created after the 2012 April Fools Terrorist Attack named "Ellernatealt" made a government forum post asking Robloxians whether or not he should upload a 30-minute video of him with his terrorists causing havoc in Robloxia to Bloxtube. He also made the claim that he was unable to create aliases. As of February 2021, he is still in Robloxia, having been last seen January 4th, 2021. Somewhere around April 2012, a video was uploaded of an alleged federal employee and Ellernate talking to each other. This video was taken down a few days later and was expected to be "gone forever". However, almost a decade later in March 2021, the video had resurfaced reuploaded. Despite the title of the video, Ellernate has confirmed that his old friend who went by "Twister" was pretending to be an alleged federal employee, and not a real federal employee.
iTrapped
iTrapped was a Robloxian known for being a terrorist of the 2012 April Fools Terrorist Attack by accessing a federal employee only part of the federal government website. He was infamous for ruining the economy of Robloxia at the time. He accessed the website with Ellernate and Caleb244.
Criticism
Ellernate, one of the terrorists who accessed the federal government website accused iTrapped of going too far and destroying the Robloxia economy. iTrapped did not listen to any of Ellernate's posts and continued to destroy the economy as well as file deportation notices to famous Robloxians. People in Robloxia soon caught on to this and criticized iTrapped, mainly for deporting TheGamer101 during the terrorist attack.
Planet Brick
In later years, iTrapped has been criticized by many Robloxians for his competitive planet as Planet Brick. Robloxians claimed that iTrapped scammed them out of their money when the planet was closed down. He soon reopened the planet and to blatantly try to get Robloxians to spend money, by creating an avatar shop in Halloween, selling the most expensive items on the site at the time. However, before the Robloxians could buy from the avatar shop, the planet closed down again. Due to this, many Robloxians filed a chargeback request and criticized iTrapped for potentially scamming them. The process repeated multiple times which caused suspicion from Robloxia. Some members of Robloxia also criticized him for governing the competitive planet altogether, saying it was a "rip-off" of Roblox.
Finally, Planet Brick reopened a third time in July 2019, refunding Robloxians who visited avatar shops in Planet Brick but not Blox City. Robloxians criticized this decision by claiming that Robloxians who visited avatar shops in Blox City did not receive a refund. The planet eventually closed down in March of 2020 and, after a long period of time, the planet's owner said that it is reopening.
Deportation and Legacy
On May 4, 2012, iTrapped was deported for great involvement in the terrorist attack, exiling famous Robloxians at the time such as TheGamer101 and streetx. iTrapped also took place in destroying the government website as a whole during the hack. Almost two months after the deportation, he went on another alias soon known as NoDoom around July 29, 2012, on which he made a post claiming to be iTrapped himself (However, the post is nowhere to be found). The alias was later deported. He soon went on an alias known as G0dfrey around August 2014, but he was also deported. He also used the aliases DubstepTheory and DoctorEvidence, but both were deported.
Caleb244
Caleb244 was involved in the April Fools 2012 Terrorist Attack by accessing the secret federal government website along with Ellernate and iTrapped . He was deported one month later before iTrapped started to exile famous Robloxians such as TheGamer101. Old chatlogs found on the website "pastebin" show that Caleb244 also hacked Robloxia federal employee accounts to add inappropriate posts on the forum.
Criticism
In May 2012, Caleb244 was deported for being a part of the April Fools 2012 Terrorist Attack. He grew to be a major terrorist at his time, exiling many Robloxians including rokit and themalaysian.
