The 2008 MeepCity Tsunami was a devastating tsunami caused by a deep-sea earthquake. It was first detected by a buoy four minutes later. Warnings for the crew of ferries and citizens of the Western Bloxington Ocean were issued. However, the warning for MeepCity was cancelled by accident by the Robloxia Weather Service. The wave impacted MeepCity at a staggering height. The tsunami did not travel far and affected only MeepCity as a result. However, since the Robloxia Weather Service cancelled the warning, overall deaths and damages are 50% more devastating had it struck with warning.
The damages and deaths included the capsizing of ferries in MeepCity. It also became known as the 2008 MeepCity Disaster. Following the tsunami, the Robloxia Weather Service was sued by victimized MeepCitizens, seeking an amount equivalent to the amount of damage that was caused by the tsunami.
