Due to the 2002 Core Disaster, the ozone layer started cracking and breaking. Several holes appeared in the ozone layer, causing the Robloxians and animals to start getting blinded or sunburnt, to the point where they would have heat stroke or catch on fire. One area that was hit was Miablox, which was burned and melted to the ground. The layer started getting weaker until it was 90% percent destroyed, causing cars, people, buildings, and landscape to catch on fire and melt. The alleyways became a refuge for those who were blinded since they provided shade. The buildings' interiors were unsafe due to air conditioning units being melted and, of course, they'd be on fire.
A few minutes after the ozone layer started becoming weak in the Miablox area, several bushfires started, eventually turning into wildfires. Pumice, smoke, and ash started filling the air, intoxicating several people. Cars were useless due to tires and chassis melting, even trapping a man inside his car until he died. The Bloxington Bridge, connecting Suburb Island (known for being a suburban island), and Island Beach State Park, was destroyed and split almost perfectly in half. Cars either were melted into a metallic goo or dropped into the 130 degrees Fahrenheit water. Many aquatic wildlife was literally baked alive underwater or sought refuge in coral reefs that provided good shade. Many people that had been directly in the wake of the ozone hole would rapidly start developing cancer, or become temporarily, in some cases permanently blinded. Some would get a heat stroke instantly or pass out from the heat. In one case, a bystander literally caught on fire.
