The First Battle of Bryer City occurred on November 10th, 1780, following a series of Slenderite-aligned riots in southern Bloxia-controlled Slendernawa. The Bloxian Empire, believing that the riots were sponsored by northern independent Slenders, invaded the city from the east and west, surrounding it. The battle lasted an astounding 46 days. The Bloxians were unable to break through the defenses, and local militias prevented advances until the city was starved and a treaty signed to end the war.
The battle is often seen as a sign of pride and nationalism due to the heroic actions of Slender soldiers defending the city to their deaths.
