Start of the riots

On April 23, 1999, at 9:31 p.m., four police officers beat a man in a bank robbery nearly to death. From her apartment window, a lady captured the attack and sent a video to Bloxy News. People were upset that the man had been beaten so badly that he was bleeding out before anybody had even looked into whether or not he was the bank robber in this instance. Eventually, disgruntled locals began to revolt against the police. It began as a typical demonstration demanding that the police be less violent against offenders and citizens in general. One policeman, however, neglected to take his medication because of a mental illness. Three persons were shot by the same cop on April 24, 1999.

Looting of Luobutown

Several establishments in Luobutown had been broken into and plundered by rioters, who stole goods and sometimes physically assaulted shop owners and customers. It was complete mayhem on the streets of Luobutown. Shop owners came together and began shooting the rioters while individuals were being kicked, punched, and shot at. Even rioters who entered a shopkeeper's space while waiting for the cops to come were imprisoned. Unintentionally, one rioter struck a propane tank; the explosion that followed wounded 14 Robloxians. Overnight, arson was committed, and back alleys were turned as gun shops for rioters. A shop fire was reported to the River City Fire Department.

As a result of the arson, Luobutown eventually caught fire, injuring several people. In the melee, one rioter died.

Shootings at intersections

On April 24, a number of gunfire at intersections started at approximately nine o'clock. A furious rioter ultimately smashed the traffic signals when cars were plundered while there was a red light. When SWAT arrived to control the situation, a rioter with a machine gun started shooting, killing two Robloxians and wounding seven more. After the shooter was ultimately taken out, the SWAT contacted the DOT to repair the traffic signal. After a while, the mayor issued a warning:

Message is being broadcasted at the request of the River City Police Department, and the Mayor of Liberty County. At around 4 PM, multiple 911 calls were made reporting shootings and robberies across the county. 6 people have already been confirmed dead, and many more injured. The River City PD urges all citizens to stay indoors, turn off lights at dark, and stay out of public. If you know somebody that is rioting or causing many crimes recently, please call our non-emergency line: 555-7103-450

On April 25, about 7 AM, there was a second gunshot, and several hostages were abducted. One of the captives was connected to a C4, so the bomb squad and even the FSB were dispatched to address the issue. The hostages were freed, and a police officer shot the rioter who had been holding them hostage. Machine guns were purchased by several rioters, who mounted them on the backs of pickup trucks and began shooting at police personnel. The 34th Infantry Regiment and the 19th Special Operations Regiment were the special troops that the government brought in at this point. Each of the two regiments had roughly 128 members. The troops began to prowl the city's parked cars, hiding out there until they periodically ventured outdoors to patrol.

Battle of Liberty Plaza

At 1PM on April 25th, over 1000 rioters gathered in the parking lot and surrounding area of Liberty Plaza. 90 percent of the RCPD made a line composing of 250 officers to battle them. One shot was fired, then it became a battle. Officers brought tear gas and machine guns to stop the rioters, while many rioters even brought flamethrowers. Overall, the riot was classified as a battle. Over 14 police officers were killed, and 100 more were injured. 341 rioters were killed, and 503 rioters were injured severely. Overall, the riots lasted 2 days and killed more than 350 people. Hundreds more were injured, and this riot goes down as the deadliest civil unrest "movement" in Robloxia.

April 25th goes down in history as "Bloody Sunday" as 355 people were killed in one day over the course of 2 hours.
