Suzuran was destroyed after Earthquake and Tsunami

The 1995 Great Suzuran Earthquake and Tsunami was a devastating and widely felt earthquake and tsunami with an epicenter near Ro-Tokai that occurred at 8:00 UTC on January 15, 1995. The earthquake had an 9.7 moment magnitude (initially registered as an 8.9). A fault rupture was responsible for this. All soil was liquefied in the region. The liquefied soil destroyed Suzuran Jr High School.

Widespread damage had occurred, specifically in metropolitan areas where fatalities had occurred. Massive amounts of damage had occurred to areas like Ro-Tokai, where violent shaking had been directed. The majority of Ro-Tokai, along with Ro-Tokai's beaches, were split apart from the rest of Ro-Tokai. The earthquake had killed more than 100 Robloxians and injured 78 Robloxians in the span of minutes, according to the Neo-Japanese Emergency Management Agency. The large amounts of death sparked a massive "Robloxianitarian" response in Roblox, with trillions of ROBUX donated. Following the earthquake, people had fled from Ro-Tokai to the east, following the massive disruption to life and normality. Aftershocks had continued for an hour.

The earthquake had a wider downdip rupture, smaller rupture area, shorter surface rupture length, shorter subsurface rupture length, larger displacement, and faster fault slip rate than a normal earthquake of that magnitude.
