The 1986 Bloxburg Valley Floods were a series of massive floods that struck the northern regions of Bloxburg Valley between March 12 and March 17, 1986. Very heavy and violent rainfalls, caused several rivers including the Bloxburg River and North Valley River, to overflow, leading to widespread flooding that displaced thousands of residents.
