The 1630 Blockfield Earthquake and Tsunami was triggered by a magnitude 8.7 earthquake on present-day Blockfield as New Brickson fault ruptured. The tsunami swept across the ocean. Surprisingly, the tsunami warnings issued by the Bloxington Ocean Tsunami Warning Center (BOTWC) worked, as zero Robloxians lost their lives, but then again, Blockfield was not colonized.

The first wave, 420 meters ( 1.5 kilo-studs ) high, swept over the ocean at 6550 mph ( 10.5 kilo-studs per second ), and washed stuff out into the sea, where they were further washed in the turbulent waters as further tsunamis swept over the Bloxington Ocean. Aftershocks measuring 7.7 and 8.1 also caused two more tsunamis, which added to the death toll of the first tsunami. Once the waves had died down, a sound like ten cannons firing simultaneously was heard as far as 948.7 miles (5.45 mega-studs) from the epicenter.

Finally, after the fourth tsunami, the disaster calmed down. There were miniature tsunamis until 1780, when the area began to get back to its former glory.
