The 12th Bloxburg Ground Task Company (BGTCO) is a ground task support and liaison unit for the Robloxian Ground Corps. The BGTCO have been tasked to lead several raid missions and track down many infamous terrorists. It has also supported many countries such as Israblox and Korbloxia during wars by sending out soldiers and supplies. The BGTCO is also the first company to introduce "drills", an activity used to train soldiers' discipline which involved loads of physical movements and strength. The BGTCO is also one of the largest and strongest army companies in Robloxia.
Requirements to join the company
- Each individual must be over 18 years old.
- Have a driver's license.
- Have an ID and a passport.
- Buy the uniform.
- Have a high school diploma.
- Pass the military entrance exam.
- Over 5 foot 9 (6.26 studs).
- Weigh at least 80kg (3.644 Roblox Mass Units)
Organisation
The BGTCO organizes its company into squads, sections, platoons and battalions, with appointed leaders to carry out duties.
Squads
The company consists of 48 squads, consisting of at least 10 to 13 soldiers per squad. Each squad is led by a leader, being at least the rank of a Corporal. The main role of a squad is to carry out tasks, plan for upcoming events and gather information on a certain subject.
Sections
The company consists of 16 sections, which consists of 3 squads each. Each section is led by a leader with the rank of at least a Staff Sergeant or a Major Sergeant. The main purpose of a section leader is also to carry out tasks, plan for upcoming events and gather information. Sometimes, sections might be helping in certain combat operations.
Platoons
The company consists of 8 platoons, which consists of 2 sections each. Each platoon is led by a leader with the rank of a Platoon Sergeant. The purpose of the platoon leader is mainly guarding duty and leading in combat operations. The platoon leaders will also help out with battle strategies, planning as well as to provide fire support and to give out communications and tasks.
Battalion
The company consists of 2 battalions, consisting of 2 platoons each. Each battalion is led by a Lieutenant Corporal or a Lieutenant. The role of a battalion commander is to provide for fire support and carry out air strikes. In battle, a battalion commander is tasked to lead and send out their battalion into the battlefield.
Role of officers
Officers are responsible for carrying out all activities and programs that happens in the company.
Training
Basic State Training Course (BSTC)
The BGTC is reserved for soldiers who have joined an army in Bloxburg. The requirements to join the course is to have at least 1 year of experience in the army.
Intermediate State Training Course (ISTC)
Each squad leader is to go through both BSTC and ISTC in order to maintain their role as a squad leader.
Advanced State Training Course (ASTC)
Each platoon leader is required to join all 3 non officer training courses, BSTC, ISTC and ASTC in order to become a platoon leader.
Officers' Training Course (OTC)
Platoon leaders who are willing to get the rank of an officer have to go through the Officers' Training Course. Only a very small number of attendees who complete the course will get the rank of an officer in the company.
