Since the end of June, The Witch Hunt has been underway in Robloxia. It is a series of operations and a vast collection of initiatives organized by the government and aimed at removing dangerous and toxic groups from Robloxia as well as hunting down predators.
Ordinary predators are being tracked down. Tens or even hundreds of thousands of cases that were put on hold during the Corporatists’ rule are now being reopened. Every day, the police, the militia, investigative bureaus, and special forces are making tens of thousands of arrests of predators to ensure that children in Robloxia are definitely safe. Predatory groups are a key target. Special forces are constantly searching for such groups and dismantling them. Among the groups recently dismantled was the infamous group known as "Mommy's Good Boys". All of its members have been arrested and face up to life in prison.
Another important issue is dangerous groups. The least harmful ones, those created as a joke by some teenagers, are shut down, and their members are reprimanded. Moreover, as part of educational reforms, schools have begun offering special training sessions to warn students about toxic communities. As for the more dangerous groups, the police, the militia, and special forces are cracking down on them just like they do with gangs. So far, tens of thousands of such groups have been shut down. The gangs themselves have not gotten off scot-free either, as the government sent the militia and special forces to crack down on them, temporarily eliminating crime in thirty states of Robloxia.
It did not stop with the gangs. Government forces have broken up more than a dozen far-right militias. What is more, the government has taken on terrorist organizations. Saviours of Roblox outposts are under attack and under siege, and the government plans to completely remove them from Robloxia. At the same time, the Corporatist Army has also drawn attention. Over the past week, the military and special forces have been dismantling its units, culminating in a final operation that took place yesterday and the day before. All of its leaders were killed or captured, with the exception of Sebald Bloxbrick, who is likely planning to make his way to Rolaska and from there escape to Tovokia.
There is a bit of chaos in the media itself, and numerous rumors are circulating. Reportedly, government forces have installed wiretaps on Corporatist and Conservative congressmen. Moreover, since the operation began, many Corporatists, Conservatives, Communists, and even a few Reformists have been arrested on various charges, including membership in dangerous groups. In the meantime, the government is also beginning to crack down on cults and sects, and their numbers will likely decline in the future.
The Witch Hunt is seen as the perfect "purge" of Robloxia to mark the 730th anniversary of its independence, as the government plans to rid Robloxia of its greatest threats on this occasion to ensure that residents will feel safe on the streets.
